Elizabeth Snowden and John J. Parman founded their partnership in January 2019.

Educated in philosophy at Bard College, Elizabeth Snowden founded The Pallas Gallery in San Francisco (2021-2026), now Studio Pallas. A writer-editor with 20 years of experience, she consults on content and strategy. Her own writing focuses on place as a converging point of art, design, history, language, philosophy, and terrain.

Educated in architecture and planning at U.C. Berkeley and Washington University, John J. Parman is an editor at Seattle’s ARCADE and an advisor to ORO Editions’ AR+D imprint. The editorial director at Gensler for two decades, he co-founded and published the award-winning journal Design Book Review and was a Visiting Scholar at Berkeley.
